There is a 30 minute gap between most panels in the schedule - I'd recommend arriving 10-30 minutes early depending on how much setup your panel requires.

At AC my roomies and I had a hotel a bit far away. On the Sat. I had to do my cartoons panel but didn't want to lug around the laptop bag all day what with helping roomie with fursuit parade. They had pop up lockers in conv ctr, $15 per day so I stashed the laptop there for several hours

So, in CT you can legally drink: On a private residence, inside a bar or restaurant, in a vehicle if you're not the driver, at a designated outdoor social event. Since the hotel (the Hilton Stamford Hotel) has a restaurant and a bar, they have to hold a CT liquor license. A CT Liquor license covers the public area inside of all buildings attached to the bar or restaurant.

I called the hotel and alcoholic beverages are served at the bar and the restaruant and open containers are allowed in those areas and the lobby. I dont think they would yell at you if you drank in a panel, so long as you are of age and no minors are provided alcohol.

Hi I work at a Hilton and been in hotels forever lol… yes I hate the laws in pa as I work there now. There’s even a law where outside alchy and such are not permitted in our attached courtyard to restaurant as it is considered. But we have a way around it where our second courtyard not next to restaurant and bar is a free game and opened 24/7 lmao.
Also I love people enjoying themselves even drunk. Long as no one is yelling fighting making a mess or bothering other guests we don’t mind. Tip hotel staff be nice and keep clean and not over due it. We usually hint people if want to overdue go in your room and sleep lmao

I understand that and I appreciate a good banter. However, Im 44 and Ive been going to cons since at least 1996. I have seen my fair share of people getting too drunk, people on stretchers, people getting violently ill or passing out in hallways. I *personally* think that the furry fandom, specifically at conventions, has an alcohol problem.

If possible I record audio of game shows--and sometimes video like on Facebook live, though those are brief excerpts. I post them on anthrocoon.com and you can hear audio of panels from Northeast cons.
Some videos of game shows are done by others and get posted on youtube.

This past year Anthrocon had a bunch of games but I was only able to see a couple because of helping a roomie fursuit. And I got mistaken idea Price is Right was at 7--it was at 5 so I missed it.

when I was a kid my brother and I would make haunted houses. one of the best effects I think we did was this paper ghost decoration. it was about 2 deet tall and had a glow in the dark strip around the edge. we hung it on a string and attached it to the ceiling fan ans turned off the light. the ghost had been very close to the light so it glowed brightly...... but because it was spinning on the fan, the ghost would phase in and out and dissapear and reappear randomly

My friend Joe Bear is at Another Fur Con out in Calif. right now and got a huge turnout for his Furs That Crave In N Out panel. That is a fast food place that is nowhere near here. He got maybe 80 people in a medium sized panel room. I was reminded of ANE last year when I tried to go to Tofte's history panel but it was so jam packed I could not get in at all. Gale's Fursuiting 101 at AC 23 was also jam packed, so much so that at AC 24, she got a massive room down on the first floor of the DLCC...

By the way, I have a trick for food shopping if you don't mind walking. If you are taking any rolling luggage or crates with you, empty it, and take it with you to the store. You can use this to wheel the groceries back.
